Analysis of Research Report on New Sector of Future Industry

According to the "Research Report on the New Track of Future Industries", China's future industries can be divided into ten key tracks in 2025, namely: general artificial intelligence (large models, etc.), advanced autonomous driving, commercial aerospace, humanoid robots/embodied intelligence, low-altitude economy/general aviation, new energy storage (such as solid-state batteries), clean hydrogen, computing power chips, cell and gene therapy, and the metaverse.

Track 1: General Artificial Intelligence (Large Models, etc.)

In the field of general artificial intelligence, the United States and China are widely regarded as the world's top echelon, and their scores in the global AI innovation index are significantly higher than other countries. In the United States, representative large models include ChatGPT, Claude series and LLaMA series, among which OpenAI is the world's leading large model research and development institution, and its GPT series models lead the development direction of artificial general intelligence (AGI). In China, representative models include Baidu's Wenxin model, Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen, and the recently launched DeepSeek-R1.

In order to accelerate the development of the large model industry, China has introduced a series of policies and measures. For example, Beijing issued the "Several Measures for Promoting the Innovation and Development of General Artificial Intelligence in Beijing", proposing to achieve the scale of core industries to reach 300 billion yuan by 2025, and drive the scale of related industries to exceed 1 trillion yuan. At present, Beijing has gathered more than 120 large model-related innovation entities, ranking first in the country, and has become the core highland for the development of large models in the country. At the same time, Shanghai also actively promotes the integration of large model technology and application, and issued the "Several Opinions on Supporting the Development of Artificial Intelligence Large Models", which makes efforts to enhance innovation capabilities, improve the supply of factors, promote the development of open source and create iconic application scenarios, and accelerate the construction of a large model industry ecology with demonstration and leading effects.

Track 2: High-level autonomous driving

In the field of high-level autonomous driving, ke

y technologies such as autonomous driving solutions, computing chips, core sensors, high-precision maps, and V2X communication continue to be iteratively upgraded to promote the rapid development of the industry. Tesla adopts the pure vision technology route, and its Autopilot system has been widely used in production vehicles, with a cumulative mileage of billions of miles of autonomous driving. Baidu Apollo has achieved regular operation in 11 cities, with a cumulative test mileage of more than 43 million miles, more than 1,200 autonomous driving licenses, and 4,800 patents leading the industry. Waymo focuses on Level 4 autonomous driving, using the fusion solution of lidar, radar and camera, and has carried out commercial services in many places in the United States, with a test mileage of 22 million miles. Pony.ai also focuses on L4 technology, which has been tested in many cities in China and the United States, with a cumulative mileage of more than 20 million miles. TuSimple will focus on self-driving freight trucks, which have been commercialized in China and the United States based on vision technology, with a cumulative mileage of more than 57 million kilometers. On the whole, the world's leading companies are continuously deepening their technology layout around high-level autonomous driving capabilities and moving towards larger-scale commercial implementation.

Track 3: Commercial Aerospace

In the field of commercial aerospace, many companies around the world are actively deploying in the direction of rocket launches, spacecraft, satellite manufacturing and operation, etc., to promote the commercial development of aerospace technology. SpaceX of the United States has built a complete launch service system through rockets such as Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy, combined with Starship and Merlin engines under development, and has established its global leading position with the Starlink low-orbit satellite constellation. Blue Origin focuses on suborbital and orbital launch vehicle development, launching rockets such as the New Shepard and New Glenn; Europe's Arianespace mainly provides launch services, and the representative product is the Arian 5 rocket. Chinese companies are also rising rapidly, Changguang Satellite has built Asia's largest sub-meter commercial remote sensing satellite constellation "Jilin No. 1", Galaxy Aerospace is committed to the independent development of low-orbit broadband communication satellites, and Blue Arrow Aerospace specializes in large carrier rockets propelled by liquid oxygen methane. In terms of infrastructure construction, Galaxy Virgin Harbor, as the world's first launch site dedicated to commercial spaceflight, successfully achieved its first commercial flight in June 2023, marking a new stage of commercial spaceflight. At the same time, Beijing is actively promoting the agglomeration and development of the commercial aerospace industry, promulgating the "2024-2028 Innovation and Development Action Plan", accelerating the construction of the "South Arrow and North Star" industrial pattern, forming a number of achievements including "Beijing" and "Kuafu", and is committed to building a commercial aerospace innovation and development highland with global influence.
