Scientific research and technical strength
Aosong Electronics has a full-time R&D team of more than 200 engineers, including nearly 30 returnees with doctoral and master's degrees. In the past five years, the company's average annual R&D investment accounts for more than 20% of the total operating income, and in the past three years, it has carried out nearly 30 R&D projects and applied for more than 300 patents and intellectual property rights. The company has also carried out in-depth cooperation with well-known universities such as South China University of Technology and Sun Yat-sen University to build a complete innovation ecological closed loop from chip design to packaging and testing.

The company is mainly engaged in the research and development and production of temperature and humidity sensors, gas sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors, optical sensors, magnetic sensors, infrared sensors and other sensors. Its products are widely used in smart home, industrial automation, medical health, new energy vehicles, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and other fields.
Industrial layout and market performance
In September 2024, Aosong Electronics completed a Series D financing of RMB 700 million to accelerate the construction of its 8-inch MEMS characteristic semiconductor IDM industrial base. The industrial base is expected to be put into operation in the first half of 2025, which will significantly increase the production capacity and expand the category of core components of high-end sensors. In addition, Aosong Electronics' products have passed the national laboratory testing and certification, and some products are exported to Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States and other countries and regions.
