At the “Fair Plus 2025” Robotics Ecosystem Summit held in Futian, Shenzhen this April, a rising Chinese technology company quietly drew industry-wide attention. As NVIDIA’s sole elite partner for robotics vision in China—and with full platform compatibility across Qualcomm, Rockchip, Horizon Robotics, and HiSilicon—Shenzhen Sensing Tech Intelligence is delivering over 100,000 image sensing units per month. With a comprehensive software-hardware-algorithm integration strategy, the company is building a unified image perception platform for AI applications.
In an exclusive interview with Chen Lu, Editor-in-Chief of China Exportsemi, Li Guoqing, head of Sensing Tech’s robotics product line, shared the company’s vision of reshaping the foundation of robotic vision using an Android-like ecosystem approach. Sensing Tech is now moving aggressively into core AI application markets, including autonomous driving, robotics, and the burgeoning low-altitude economy. Qiu Aihua, another company representative, provided further insights into Sensing Tech’s customer base and shipment figures.

I. Full-Spectrum AI Vision Solutions: From Autonomous Driving to Robotics
As a tech company specializing in AI-based imaging systems, Sensing Tech Intelligence is committed to bridging cutting-edge computer vision with real-world applications.
“Our core business revolves around image systems—we provide a range of camera modules, vision algorithms, and ISP tuning services, applied widely in autonomous driving, humanoid robots, IoT devices, and low-altitude applications,” said Li Guoqing.
Sensing Tech's capabilities go far beyond supplying hardware. The company offers an end-to-end closed-loop solution—covering everything from camera modules and ISP parameter tuning to algorithm adaptation and platform integration—delivering rapid-deployment image capabilities to clients. Particularly in scenarios requiring high-precision imaging fused with neural network algorithms, Sensing Tech’s products stand out for their image quality, low-latency transmission, and compute compatibility.
II. Three Core Product Lines Tailored for Embodied Intelligence in Robotics
In response to the rapid rise of robotics, Sensing Tech launched a dedicated robotics product line in 2024. Recognizing the trend toward “embodied intelligence,” the company saw early on that whether humanoid, bionic, quadruped, or service robots, all require vision systems that can "see clearly, see far, and understand what they see."
At the Fair Plus 2025 event, Sensing Tech showcased three flagship product categories:
1. Comprehensive Image Solution Platform
Designed for robot control systems across high, mid, and low compute levels, the platform includes compute modules (e.g., NVIDIA, Rockchip), Sensing Tech-developed camera modules, SDK integration kits, and image tuning support. The integrated hardware-algorithm-tuning solution significantly shortens time-to-market for robotics manufacturers.

2. Stereo Camera Line
Stereo cameras—robots’ “eyes”—are a strategic R&D focus for Sensing Tech. Powered by proprietary neural network algorithms, these cameras offer highly accurate depth estimation and real-time spatial data, already in use for humanoid robot navigation, obstacle avoidance, and object grasping.

3. GMSL Monocular Camera Series
Unlike traditional USB or Ethernet interfaces, GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) is a high-speed coaxial digital interface known for stability, low latency, and multi-camera synchronization—making it ideal for image capture during robot movement.
“The GMSL interface shows significant advantages for synchronized multi-camera capture and dynamic imaging,” added Li Guoqing.
The series currently includes 3MP and 5MP Global Shutter models, optimized for ultra-compact size and ultra-low power consumption, well-suited for installation in complex areas such as the robot's head or chest.
III. A Robust Ecosystem with Full Compatibility Across Leading AI Platforms
“We’re NVIDIA’s only elite partner for robotic vision in China,” Li emphasized. This status enables Sensing Tech to prioritize adaptation for the NVIDIA Jetson platform, ensuring algorithmic performance and system stability.
Beyond NVIDIA, Sensing Tech has also achieved full-stack compatibility with leading domestic and international platforms, including Rockchip, Horizon Robotics, Qualcomm, and HiSilicon.
This strategy brings flexibility and cost-efficiency to downstream clients, especially those with tight integration and budget requirements.
IV. Migrating Automotive-Grade Expertise into Robotics
Far from being a newcomer, Sensing Tech is an industry veteran with deep roots in automotive imaging systems. The team first entered the autonomous driving space in 2019. “We’ve developed in-depth partnerships with top delivery robot companies like JD.com, Meituan, and Alibaba, and we also serve clients in autonomous mining applications like EasyControls,” said Qiu Aihua.
As robotics takes off, Sensing Tech is leveraging its years of experience in automotive-grade imaging to gain a head start in this emerging field. This expertise allows them to quickly understand client needs and translate them into deployable solutions.
To date, Sensing Tech has partnered with dozens of innovative robotics firms spanning educational robots, industrial inspection robots, and security robots.
V. Dual Strength in Technology and Supply Chain: 100,000 Units Monthly Output
Backed by its "hardware + algorithm + tuning" triad model, Sensing Tech’s production capabilities are equally impressive.
“Our maximum monthly capacity for image systems can reach 100,000 units,” Qiu revealed. “This is built on years of experience in mass production and robust supply chain management.”
Such capacity not only meets current demand but also positions the company well for the coming wave of large-scale robotic deployment.
VI. Conclusion: Becoming the Visual Infrastructure of the AI-Robotics Era
As generative AI accelerates progress in embodied intelligence, robots are evolving from sensing to decision-making and execution. In this journey, vision systems serve as the sensory core, enabling machines to understand the world around them.
With its automotive-grade imaging expertise, comprehensive product lineup, and strong platform compatibility, Sensing Tech Intelligence is fast becoming the foundational provider of robotic vision—akin to water, electricity, and gas for cities.
In the near future, perhaps a single camera lens will be all it takes to bridge AI and the real world. Sensing Tech is walking this path steadily and resolutely, transforming intelligent vision into a tangible force powering the physical world.
